Directions from Liberia Airport
For visiting Lake Arenal and Vistas del Lago. Take the International Highway Route 1 to Canas. From there, it is best to follow the signs to the Tilaran and Lake Arenal, take State Hwy 142 from Tilaran towards Arenal, about 5 minutes from Tilaran you will see the lake, go straight not left, pass through San Luis, continue to Tronadora. Just before the town of Tronadora turn left and continue southeast on public lake road approximately 7 kms. to the entrance gate to Vistas Del Lago.
Directions from San Jose
For visiting Lake Arenal and Vistas del Lago. Take the International Highway Route 1 to Canas.
