Charming Villa Getaway

We visited Arenal Volcano and the Monteverde Cloud Forest, both within a day's drive, but beware the local unpaved roads and try to keep your trips to daylight hours. Bev was a great host!

Other Airbnb photos state clearly where a pool is private or shared and this may assist future guests.

There was a general feel that the property was unloved (cast off furniture, musty smells, empty bottles of cleaning materials)

Bev est très attentionnée et fait tout pour rendre le séjour parfait. Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve. Nous recommandons fortement cet endroit bien situé, dans un environnement où la faune et la flore représentent vraiment le pays au naturel. Nous avons vu plus d’oiseaux et de singes sur le site que lors de toutes nos visites dans des lieux touristiques.

The house came equipped with everything we need including plenty of clean towels, linens and kitchenware. Bev was very flexible and understanding when our ETA turned out to be much later than expected due to travel delays and ensured someone was at the guard house to show us to the house. Overall, we had a great stay and would absolutely recommend Bev’s place to anyone looking for a remote, quiet and comfortable place to stay in Costa Rica.

The main attractions are 1-2 hrs away so factor that in but if you’re looking to not be in a tourist town; this is a good option.
