I was planning to buy property in Belize before looking into Costa Rica which was recommended by my cousin's husband. I started watching HGTV and there were quite a few episodes in Costa Rica. I live in Houston and the heat and humidity, not to mention the flatness of the area is all I have known in my life. I changed my flight reservation and flew to Liberia. I met with a realtor who showed me properties in the Arena! area. There was a "ah hah" moment when I met Brad and Beverly Sheatz. They showed me some lots and I fell in love with the beauty and the vistas. Brad and Beverly were very accommodating and helped me every step of the way. Instantaneously, I felt as I was part of the Vistas family. The community is very close and help each other when a need occurs. Brad and Beverly have carved out a piece of heaven. I enjoy the cool weather, breezes and serenity when I am there. I can sit out all day looking at the most beautiful lake.

What an incredible place to be part of for so many reasons. Its natural beauty really does knock your socks off. The view of Lake Arenal and the Arenal Volcano are mystical. Vistas is very much a natural cocoon of peace. The sounds of the toucans and monkeys are stimulating. Where are they? Right in front of you. Hummingbirds are everywhere. Sloths are there but win at hide and seek. Respect for our ecosystem is the number one reason I love Costa Rica and Vista Del Lago. The people at Vistas Del Lago are as authentic as the ecosystems. Everyone is friendly and watches out for one another. Bev and Brad Sheatz stand for treating Mother Nature with kid gloves. Underground electric cables are a vow to let nature reign. The gorgeous plants on the properties where casitas are built are part of the lifestyle with gorgeous bouquets designed by Noel being an integral part of the life space. The staff at Vista Del Lagos is outstanding. Friendly and trustworthy. It is always a happy "Hola" transaction! The feeling of family is everywhere. The club house adds an extra touch- especially when we are making 32 pizzas in the brick oven and singing karaoke. The views from the club house are gorgeous and it is an out of body experience to swim in the pool looking our over the lake. But where are the negatives? I dare you to find one.

After deciding we liked Lake Arenal. Vistas del Lago blew us away with the view, loved the nature trail, and really liked the people. Beaty said that when she stepped on the lot God said "this is it". We have not seen anywhere we had rather live.
